- High School Academic excellence award all four years.
- 4.0 GPA for dual credit classes and earned BCTC Dean’s List honors for Spring 2022.

2023-24 (Freshman)
Indoor
- Competed in five meets including the CUSA Championships
- Competed in the Mile, 3000, and 5000.
- Finished in the top-15 three times, highlighted by a 12th place finish in the 5000 at the CUSA Championships.
Outdoor
- Competed in five meets, in the 1500, 3000, and 5000.
- Set a PR in the 1500 at the Yellow Jacket Invite (4:15).
- Set a PR in the 5000 at the Joe Walker Invitational (15:34), taking fifth.
High School:
- From Lexington, Ky. and was homeschooled.
- Lettered in cross country in addition to track and field.
- Two-time champion in the 3200 meter at the HXN Championships.
- Placed fourth in the 3200 meter at the Cedarville University High School Indoor Meet.
Personal:
- Son of Diane and Darrell Sandfoss.
- Brother of Jessica Sandfoss who also attends WKU.
