WKU has great momentum going into the tourney, as they have finished in the top-three in back-to-back tournaments to close out the regular season. WKU will be competing at the par-72, 6,969-yard Texarkana Country Club.
Hilltopper junior Stephen Warren is first on the card for the Tops. The CUSA All-Academic Team member led the Red and White to a third-place finish in their last tournament. Warren tied for 12th after posting a 218 total score.
Coming off of a career-best tournament, Gage Doyle is also on the card looking to help the Tops win their first conference championship. Doyle tied for 16th in West Virginia and has really come on as a key contributor to Coach King's squad all spring. The Texas native will be looking to continue to improve with every round going into Arkansas.
Luke Fuller will also be competing in the tournament. Fuller has brought a healthy amount of experience to the team as he has been WKU's top finisher in four tournaments this year. He is coming off of a Mountaineer Invitational where he finished right outside of the top-20, tying for 21st.
Nic Hofman and Riley Grindstaff will round out the card for the Tops. Both Hilltoppers have become solid contributors for the Red and White. Hofman is coming off of a top-25 finish in West Virginia and will be looking to use his momentum to contribute heavily to the Tops' conference tournament. Junior Riley Grindstaff last competed at the Irish Creek Collegiate where he tied for 27th.
Senior Connery Meyer will be making the trip for the Tops as well. He will be tabbed as an individual/substitute for the Red and White. Meyer finished 81st in the Mountaineer Invitational.
Round one for the Tops is slated for a 10 A.M. tee time on Monday.
