Lady Toppers Fall At No. 63 FAU In Final Match Of Regular Season

BOCA RATON, Fla. – WKU Women's Tennis lost 6-1 to No. 63 Florida Atlantic in the regular-season finale on Monday at the Kimberly V. Strauss Tennis Center.

The Lady Toppers close the regular-season with a 14-10 overall record. The 14 wins are tied for fourth-most in a single season in program history.

Sofia Blanco picked up the lone point for WKU in the loss. The junior defeated FAU's Carla Galmiche 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) for her 18th singles win of the season, which is tied for second-most singles wins in a single season in program history.

WKU will now turn its focus to the Conference USA Championship, which is scheduled to be played Thursday, April 18-Sunday, April 21, at the Pay Cargo Tennis Facility in Miami.
