The 15 doubles wins were seventh-most in a single season in program history... Martinez went 1-0 at No. 1 doubles, 7-6 at No. 2 doubles, and 7-0 at No. 3 doubles... She posted an 11-3 record in doubles with Mariana Zegada and a 4-3 record in doubles with Sofia Blanco... Martinez finished her WKU career with 56 doubles wins... Martinez went 3-1 in singles play in the spring of 2024, with a 2-1 record at the No. 5 position and a 1-0 record at the No. 6 position... 2022-23 (Junior): Went 4-3 in singles play, competing in the No. 6 position... Posted a 12-11 mark in doubles play, playing primarily in the No. 2 and No. 3 positions throughout the season... 2021-22 (Sophomore): Went 6-2 in singles matches in the No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 spots… Perfect 4-0 in road matches… Went 17-6 in doubles matches primarily in the No. 2 and No. 3 spots… Paired with Sofia Blanco in 20 matches all in the No. 3 spot… The duo went 14-4 in the stretch including wins over Marshall and UAB ending the season on a five match win streak… Her 17 wins in doubles matches for the season is tied with teammate Sofia Blanco for the most all-time in Lady Topper single season history.
2020-21 (Freshman): Went 2-8 in singles play between the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, with both wins at the fourth position ... Picked up singles victories at Bellarmine and Dayton ... Posted a 12-5 doubles record with partner Laura Bernardos – including a 12-4 mark at the No. 2 spot – while going 4-1 against Conference USA competition ... Had a three-match win streak and a four-match win streak in the second half of the season ... The 12 doubles wins are the eighth-most by a Lady Topper in a single season in program history.
HS/Misc.: Martinez achieved as high as the No. 591 International Tennis Federation (ITF) ranking, as well as the No. 1 ranking in both the Venezuelan national and Vargas state rankings ...
