BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Soccer head coach Jason Neidell has announced his staff's camp dates for the 2024 calendar year. There will be a total of six camps throughout the year, including team camp, two day camps and three ID camps.
Registration is open and participants can register online (https://wkusoccercamps.corsizio.com). Camps are open to any and all participants.
"We take great pride in all of our Hilltopper Soccer Academy events," said Neidell. "Our staff is organized and knowledgeable, and our camps are both competitive and fun. Whether it's connecting with the community through day camps, preparing teams for their season, or providing a personal experience through our ID camps, we offer a full range of quality experiences."
Team Camp will be July 10. The camp is designed to prepare high school and club teams and individual players for the upcoming season. HSA staff coaches, which include college coaches from around the country, will work personally with each visiting coach to implement tactics that highlight team strengths. WKU players will serve as assistant coaches, group leaders, and mentors.
WKU will host a Half Day Camp July 15-18 and a Winter Holiday Camp Dec. 27-29. The Half Day Camp runs daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the Winter Holiday Camp is 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The camps are designed for boys and girls ages 5 to 12 of all abilities. Campers are grouped by age and skill level. Daily activities include instructional practices and games in a fun and challenging environment with emphasis on individual soccer technique, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The ID Camps will take place in Spring, Summer and Fall. The Spring Camp will be April 6-7, the Summer Elite ID Camp will be July 19-20 and the Fall Camp will be Nov. 23-24. This Hilltopper Soccer Academy ID Camp will focus on educating participants about college soccer through game-like competitive training that replicates the D1 college environment.
