DADE CITY, Fl.– For the first time this season, the Lady Tops will be hosting a tournament of their own. WKU travels to Dade City, Florida to host the Spring Break Shootout to compete against 14 other teams in a field that includes Butler, Memphis, St. John's, Xavier, and Florida Gulf Coast.

The Lady Tops will be taking on the par-71, 6,056-yard Lake Jovita--South Golf course.
Catie Craig is at the top of the card for WKU. Craig is coming off of a third-place finish at the UNF Collegiate, helping the red and white secure their sixth top-five finish of the season. The junior shot a 67 in her final round, which ties her second lowest round of the season.
Cementing herself in the rotation in the spring, Averi Cline will be competing as well for WKU. Cline finished tied for 12th at the UNF Collegiate and she also turned in her second lowest round of the season in that tourney. Cline turned in a 1-under 71 first and final round in that tournament.
Another key piece for the Lady Tops' rotation is senior Addie Westbrook. Westbrook had a blistering start to her spring season, tying for fourth at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational after shooting a career-low 68 in the second round. The senior went on to tie for 29th at the UNF Collegiate and has plenty of momentum going into this tournament.
Bringing experience to the field for WKU is graduate student Sarah Arnold. Arnold has been a consistent piece for the Lady Tops and is extremely reliable and consistent for the squad. Tying for 45th in the Lady Tops' last tournament, Arnold will be looking to help propel WKU to victory.
Sydney Hackett is finding a consistent role for the Lady Tops as well. Coming off of a 92nd place finish in Florida, Hackett will be looking to make an impact for WKU next week.
Making her spring debut, Faith Martin will be rounding off the lineup for the Lady Tops. This is Martin's first look at tournament action since the Boilermaker Classic in the fall where she tied for 72nd. The junior will be looking to make an immediate impact and keep WKU's streak of top-five finishes alive.
The Lady Tops have a rich history with this tournament, as they've won it twice in the last four years that they have hosted it.
The two-day tournament will tee-off on Monday morning. The 36-hole round one is set for an 8:45 A.M. shotgun start.
