EATONTON, GA.– WKU Women's Golf heads to Eatonton, Georgia to compete in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational hosted by Mercer. This is the first tournament for WKU of the spring season. Fall saw the Lady Toppers bring in a myriad of success, finishing in the top-three in four of their five tournaments. This includes a win at the Jennifer Duke Invitational. Head Coach Adam Gary's team is looking to add even more success to an already storied program heading into spring season.

WKU will tee off Friday morning at the par-72, 6107 yard River Forest Golf Club. The Lady Tops will be competing against teams like Cincinnati, Florida Atlantic, Boston College and fellow CUSA member, Middle Tennessee.
At the top of the card for the Lady Tops is junior Catie Craig. Craig is looking to build off a tremendous fall season where she came away with four top-five finishes and three CUSA Golfer of the Week awards.
The Lady Tops bring experience with Sarah Arnold. Arnold had a great fall in her own right, garnering a 71.2 stroke average along with three top-10 finishes for WKU, including a fourth place finish in the Lady Tops most recent tournament, The Southern.
Sydney Hackett and Averi Cline will also be competing for the Lady Tops as well this weekend. Hackett had a breakout season for WKU during the fall, finishing in the top five on three different occasions.
Addie Westbrook is next on the card for the Lady Tops.The senior has plenty of momentum going into the spring season as she finished with a 73.7 stroke average, which is good for the third lowest on the team. Westbrook also came away with a top-five finish as she tied for fifth in the Jennifer Duke Invitational.
Averi Cline finished in the top-20 for the Lady Tops on two separate occasions, including tying for 13th during the Jennifer Duke Invitational. The sophomore cemented herself as a very solid contributor for the Lady Tops.
Competing as an individual and wrapping up the card for WKU is Savannah Howell. This is Howell's first appearance this season and is looking to have a great showing in Georgia and make an impact for the Lady Tops.
The Lady Tops have history with this tournament. They competed in the Invitational last year where they finished third in the field after finishing with a 38-over 902 final score as a team. The WKU squad is looking to get the spring season off on the right foot.
