Lady Tops Due to Complete Regular Season at The Bruzzy

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – For its final regular season tournament of the 2022-23 year, WKU Women's Golf will play at North Texas' The Bruzzy on Saturday and Sunday at the par-70, 5,976-yard Dornick Hills Golf & Country Club in Ardmore, Okla.

Out of the 15 teams competing for the trophy at The Bruzzy, only one is outside the Golfstat Top 100, making this WKU's most challenging field to date. Seven of those teams are inside the Golfstat Top 50.

The field includes No. 17 UCF, No. 32 Texas Tech, No. 35 TCU, No. 36 Houston, No. 39 Tulsa, No. 42 North Texas, No. 49 Nebraska, No. 54 Purdue, No. 71 Oklahoma, No. 80 Wisconsin, No. 83 Missouri, No. 88 Western Kentucky, No. 91 Miami, No. 92 Kansas State and Charlotte.

WKU will be taking five women to fill its scorecard. Fifth-year senior Kenlie Barrett will lead off the lineup after tying for fifth at the Spring Break Shootout, the Lady Toppers' most recent event.

She'll be followed in the lineup by sophomore Catie Craig who currently holds a 75.1 stroke average on the year. Senior Sarah Arnold will play in the three spot and freshman Sydney Hackett will compete from the four. Rounding out the lineup is freshman Averi Cline.

The Lady Toppers won their own Spring Break Shootout in mid-March, marking the program's ninth team title under head coach Adam Gary, the winningest coach in program history.
