Meet Schedule
The Hilltoppers enter the outdoor season off a strong indoor season where multiple student-athletes represented the Red and White for the very first time. The group logged multiple PRs and event titles while Devon Montgomery (pole vault), Savannah Heckman (distance) and Katie Isenbarger (high jump) etched their names in the record books.
Most recently, Isenbarger tied for fifth at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in women's high jump, tying the school's indoor record at 6-foot.
WKU also announced the hiring of sprints assistant coach Anthony Acklin in early March, and the Tiger Track Classic will be his first outing leading the event group.
Action will start on Friday afternoon with the men's hammer throw. A handful of field events will be conducted Friday evening with just the 1500-meter, 3,000-meter steeplechase and 5k run on the track.
Saturday will be filled with field events from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. starting with women's pole vault. Events will run on the track beginning at 12:30 p.m. with the women's 4x100-meter relay and ending at 4:40 p.m. with the men's 4x400-meter relay.
