BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Women's Golf is slated to official start team spring golf on Monday and Tuesday at the First Coast Classic, co-hosted by the Lady Toppers and North Florida. The 54-hole event will be hosted at the par-72, 6,002-yard Deerwood Country Club in Jacksonville, Fla.

The event will feature 12 total teams including Arkansas State, FGCU, South Alabama, Georgia State, EKU, Stetson, Marshall, Daytona State, Troy, High Point, co-host WKU and individuals from North Florida.
Five Lady Toppers will compete in the lineup for WKU. Keeping with consistency from the fall, senior Kenlie Barrett will lead off the lineup in the No. 1 spot. Freshman Faith Martin earned her way into the second slot and sophomore Rachel Rich will follow her in the third. Fifth-year Olivia Reed is No. 4 and junior Sarah Arnold rounds out the lineup at the five.
WKU recently competed at the Lady Bulldog Individual Championship hosted by Georgia. Martin logged the highest Lady Topper finish at t-22nd, shooting a final-round 2-over 74.
In the fall, WKU competed in four team tournaments, recording its best finish of t-6th at the Lady Paladin Collegiate in late September.
