BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After a few weeks off, WKU Men's Golf is set to get back on the road at the Xavier Invitational in Maineville, Ohio beginning on Monday morning.

WKU is one of 15 teams slated to compete at the Xavier Invitational at the par-72, 7,180-yard TPC River's Bend. The field has a solid mix of Bluegrass-based and Big East schools as well as other competitors.
The tournament teams include Austin Peay, Bowling Green, Butler, DePaul, Eastern Kentucky, Morehead, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, Ohio State, Tennessee Tech, Villanova, West Virginia, WKU, Wright State and host Xavier.
Leading off the Hilltopper lineup is sophomore Riley Grindstaff. He led the squad at WKU's last outing in the JT Poston Invitational. Grindstaff notched his first top-15 finish of the season as he tied for 14th after shooting 2-over 215.
Redshirt sophomore Nic Hofman will be the next in the lineup followed by senior Luke Fuller. Fuller currently holds the second-best scoring average on the team at 74.2 strokes. Rounding out the card for the Hilltoppers is Connery Meyer and Landon Carner.
In its last time out, WKU finished 11th as a team in Saphire Valley, N.C. The Hilltoppers will start competition at the Xavier Invitational on Monday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. CT.
