SAVANNAH, Ga. – WKU Women's Golf was able to hold it together and maintain their second-place spot on the team leaderboard at The Southern. The Lady Toppers posted a 20-over 308 on Tuesday, the second-best score by any team on the day, to keep their spot.
Senior Sarah Arnold was able to move up two spots on the individual leaderboard by posting a 1-over 73 at the par-72, 6,036-yard Savannah Golf Club. She racked up 13 pars on the day as she is just two shots back from the top three golfers.
The next score of the day for the Lady Toppers came from fifth-year senior Kenlie Barrett. She posted a 4-over 76 to move up four spots and into the top 10. She is in ninth while freshman Sydney Hackett is just behind her, tied for 10th.
WKU counted an 8-over 80 from freshman Averi Cline and a 7-over 79 from junior Rachel Rich to round out the scorecard. Cline is tied for 22nd while Rich is tied for 43rd.
Junior Addie Westbrook, competing as an individual, is in 17th after posting a 10-over 82. Sophomore Catie Craig is also playing individually and shot 11-over 83 on Tuesday.
The Lady Toppers will tee off for the final round in Savannah at 8 a.m. CT with a shotgun start on Wednesday morning.
