MIAMI, Fla. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball finishes its road swing at FIU at 6 p.m. CT Saturday in Miami. The game will air on ESPN+.

The Hilltoppers dropped their second straight game Thursday with a 78-69 road loss at Florida Atlantic. FIU earned its first win in conference play with a 70-66 home victory over Marshall on Thursday.

WKU is 38-9 all-time against the Panthers, including an 84-71 win in Bowling Green exactly two weeks ago. The Hilltoppers are 14-5 all-time against FIU in Miami. WKU head coach Rick Stansbury is 6-2 all-time in his career against the Panthers.

• As of Friday, WKU ranks second in the country in fewest fouls per game (12.7), third in total blocks (112), sixth in blocks per game (6.2), 24th in total steals (159), 32nd in steals per game (8.8), 33rd in defensive rebounds per game (28.1), 40th in total assists (281) and 41st in field-goal percentage (47.2%).

• According to Ken Pomeroy, WKU is playing its second-fastest adjusted tempo (70.2) since at least 1997, when the statistic begins. This is also the fastest tempo of Rick Stansbury's 20-year head coaching career.

• WKU junior center Jamarion Sharp is the tallest player in college basketball at 7 feet, 5 inches. He's also the tallest player in the history of the Hilltopper program. Sharp leads the nation in total blocks (82) and blocks per game (4.6), is second in blocks percentage (17.9%) and third in dunks (45).

• Since entering the starting lineup 14 games ago, Jamarion Sharp is averaging 9.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.1 blocks per game while shooting 58 of 77 (75.3%) from the field.

Fifth-year senior guard Josh Anderson led WKU off the bench with 16 points and three steals.

Graduate senior guard Camron Justice and redshirt senior forward Luke Frampton each had 15 points, with Frampton knocking down 5 of 6 3-pointers and Justice handing out five assists.
