BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball continues its homestand with UT Martin coming to Diddle Arena at 12 p.m. CT Saturday. The game will stream on ESPN+ and air locally in Bowling Green on WKU PBS.

The Hilltoppers got back in the win column Wednesday with an 88-62 home win over Alabama A&M. UT Martin has won two games in a row over North Dakota and Carver College.

WKU is 3-1 all-time against UT Martin, including an 86-71 win in Bowling Green in 2018. Hilltopper head coach Rick Stansbury is 5-0 in his career against the Skyhawks.
TOP STORYLINES
• As of Thursday, WKU ranks eighth in the country in steals per game (11.6), 21st in turnovers forced per game (19.2) and 32nd in blocks per game (5.6). Fifth-year senior guard Josh Anderson ranks fifth nationally in steals per game (3.2), while sophomore guard Dayvion McKnight is eighth (3.0).

• WKU junior center Jamarion Sharp is the tallest player in college basketball at 7 feet, 5 inches. He's also the tallest player in the history of the Hilltopper program. Sharp ranks sixth in the country in blocks per game (4.0) and eighth in total blocks (20).

• Sharp recorded a triple-double Wednesday against Alabama A&M with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 10 blocks. It was the first points-rebounds-blocks triple-double in the country since 2019, and only the third-ever WKU triple-double. Sharp's 10 blocks also set a new WKU single-game record.

• Graduate senior guard Camron Justice was granted an additional season of eligibility on Nov. 10. Justice last played for WKU in 2019-20 and had been working as a graduate assistant for WKU in basketball academics since summer 2021. He also got married on Saturday, Nov. 13.

• Dayvion McKnight is currently averaging 15.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 3.0 steals. He's one of two players in the country averaging at least 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals, along with New Mexico's Jalen House. No Hilltopper has led the program in scoring, rebounding and assists since at least 1959, as far back as statistics can confirm.

WKU got into the win column for the first time, pushing past UT Martin 86-71 in the home opener at E.A. Diddle Arena.

The Hilltoppers scored 50 points in the paint and outrebounded UT Martin 45-32, while shooting 52.3 percent from the field.

Sophomore guard Taveion Hollingsworth led four WKU players in double figures scoring with 22 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
