July 30th marks roughly 100 days until the 2018-19 season tipoff for the 100th season of WKU Hilltopper Basketball, and over the next 100 days, WKU Athletics will treat fans to unique moments and interesting history from Hilltopper Basketball, all leading up to the start of the season in November.

DAY 59 (September 9) |
Edgar Allen Diddle, E.A. Diddle, was unique among the other college basketball coaches of his time. His 759-302 win-loss record at WKU made him the first coach to ever guide his team through more than 1,000 games at one college. At the time of his retirement in 1964, after 42 seasons with the Hilltoppers, his 759 wins stood as the highest total ever by a college coach. |

DAY 58 (September 10) |
Today, we begin highlighting the 15 members of the Hilltopper Basketball All-Century Team. Johnny Britt was an All-American in 1976. He's a member of the WKU Athletic Hall of Fame. He was named all-Ohio Valley Conference in 1974, '75 and '76, including winning Player of the Year in '76. He currently ranks seventh on WKU's all-time scoring list. |

DAY 57 (September 11) |
This portrait of All-Century team member Darel Carrier was taken by the WKU Talisman when Carrier was named Talisman King in 1964. In his time with Hilltopper Basketball, Carrier was named All-Ohio Valley Conference in 1962, '63 and '64. He earned All-American status in 1964 and was named to the OVC 40th Anniversary Team in 1988. His WKU jersey is retired and he is a member of the WKU Athletic Hall of Fame. |

DAY 56 (September 12) |
All-Century Team member Ralph Crosthwaite was named an All-American in 1958. He is a member of the WKU Athletic Hall of Fame and was All-Ohio Valley Conference from 1955 through '59. He is the only player in WKU history to lead the team in rebounding for four varsity seasons and is one of two Hilltoppers to lead the team in scoring for four varsity seasons. He is third on WKU's all-time scoring list and is one of five players to record 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. Crosthwaite also led NCAA Division I schools in field goal percentage in both 1957 and '58. |

DAY 55 (September 13) |

DAY 54 (September 14) |
In August of 1985, All-Century Team member Tellis Frank and the Hilltoppers traveled for a foreign tour to Japan where they won five of six games. In 1987, Frank earned All-American honors as well as the title of Sun Belt Player of the Year. He is a member of the WKU Athletic Hall of Fame and was a first-round NBA Draft pick, playing in the league through 1994. |

DAY 53 (September 15) |
All-Century Team member Clem Haskins is one of two Hilltoppers to be named an All-American in every year of their varsity career for WKU, including earning a Consensus All-American honor in 1967. He was also named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year each of his three varsity seasons and is the only player to ever be named OVC Player of the Year three times. His WKU jersey is retired and he is a member of the WKU Athletic Hall of Fame. He holds the single-game scoring record for both WKU and the OVC after scoring 55 points against Middle Tennessee in 1964. He is also one of WKU's highest ever draft picks, picked third in the first round of the 1967 NBA Draft. |

DAY 52 (September 16) |
All-Century Team member, Kannard Johnson (left), is one of the only Hilltoppers to ever earn the All-American title as a freshman. He is a member of the WKU Athletic Hall of Fame and earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors each of his four seasons on The Hill, 1984-87. He left WKU in the fifth spot on the all-time scoring leaders list and is currently eighth on the list. |

DAY 51 (September 17) |
Our youngest member of the All-Century team, Courtney Lee, is tied with Jim McDaniels for the all-time scoring record in Hilltopper Basketball history. His jersey was retired to the rafters of Diddle Arena after earning All-American honors and Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in 2008. He was drafted in the first round of the 2008 NBA Draft and currently plays for the New York Knicks. He just completed his 10th season in the NBA, becoming the longest-tenured Hilltopper to ever play in the league. |
