BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The spring season continues on for WKU Hilltopper Golf this week at the Border Olympics, hosted by Houston.
The Hilltoppers will be one of 18 teams competing Friday and Saturday at the par-72, 7,125-yard Laredo Country Club in Laredo, Texas.
Teams will play the first two rounds Friday, starting at 8 a.m. CT with a shotgun start, followed by the final round Saturday at 8 a.m.
WKU most recently competed in the Seminole Intercollegiate, part of a challenging slate of competition for the program.
Redshirt junior Billy Tom Sargent led the Hilltoppers in that event in a tie for 26th, including a season-low 67 in the final round.
Sargent will be joined by junior Stuart Easton, redshirt sophomore Linus Lo, sophomore Tom Bevington and freshman Crimson Callahan in Texas.
