In last year's NCAA National Championships, the 4x100m relay team of Kyree King, Ventavius Sears, Emmanuel Dasor and Julius Morris set a new school record time of 38.60 seconds on their way to a fifth place finish in the finals.
The 4x400m relay squad of Dasor, Austin Hayes, Sears and Maor Seged are coming off a season-best time of 3:05.07, marking the fifth-straight year that the Hilltoppers have had a relay go to Nationals.
Morris, who won the 2017 Conference USA Outdoor Male Track Performer of the Meet, placed 12th in a thrilling 100-meter dash at the East Preliminaries, edging 13th place by a fraction of a second.
Ghana native Dasor will compete in the 400-meter dash after notching an eighth place finish in Lexington with a time of 45:59. In the outdoor 400-meter dash, the senior currently owns four top-five marks in WKU history (2nd - 5th).
Sears will tie up his shoes once last time in Eugene as the senior will participate in his fourth-straight National meet, this time in the long jump event. Most recently Sears posted a 7.58m (24'10.5") mark to finish seventh at the East Preliminaries.
On Wednesday night, Morris will run the 100-meter dash at 7:45 p.m. CT and moments later both Dasor (400m) and Sears (long jump) will compete in their events at 8 p.m. CT.
