BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball returns home to host Indiana State at 11 a.m. CT Saturday at E.A. Diddle Arena.

The Hilltoppers are coming off back-to-back road losses at Ohio and Wisconsin.

Indiana State is 5-5 this season with two straight wins over Indianapolis and Green Bay. WKU is 5-2 all-time against the Sycamores, including last year's 77-59 win in Terre Haute, Ind.

• WKU is 15-4 (.789) at E.A. Diddle Arena under head coach Rick Stansbury. The Hilltoppers are 588-167 all-time at Diddle Arena for a .779 winning percentage.
• WKU has made at least one 3-pointer in 948 consecutive games, dating back to March 15, 1987. The 3-point shot was instituted prior to the 1986-87 season. The Hilltoppers' streak is the fifth-longest in the nation behind Kentucky, UNLV, Vanderbilt and Arkansas.
• Six of WKU's seven scholarship players are averaging in double figures, between 10.4 and 14.2 points.
• In his last four games, Darius Thompson has a combined 23 assists and six turnovers. In his last seven games, he has 34 combined assists and just nine turnovers.
• WKU ranks 45th in the country in field goal percentage at 49.1 percent and 23rd in 3-point percentage at 40.1 percent. The Hilltoppers lead C-USA in both categories. Freshmen Taveion Hollingsworth, Jake Ohmer and Marek Nelson are a combined 35 of 77 (45.5 percent) from long range.
• WKU has outscored its opponents 410-300 in the paint this season.
• Taveion Hollingsworth (125) and Jake Ohmer (104) are both on pace to finish among the top eight in WKU history for scoring in a season by a varsity freshman. Mike Wilson is 10th on that list with 265 points.
• WKU ranks 49th in the nation and second in C-USA in turnovers forced at 16.4 per game, despite ranking 19th in the nation in personal fouls. Lamonte Bearden ranks 34th in the country and second in C-USA in total steals with 22 through nine games. No WKU player had more than 28 steals all last season.
• Coming into the week, WKU was one of three programs in the nation with two players – Dwight Coleby (4) and Justin Johnson (4) – who had at least four double-doubles each.
• As of Friday, Justin Johnson was ranked ninth among active NCAA players for career rebounds and tied for eighth in career double-doubles. He's one of just nine active NCAA players with at least 1,000 career points and 750 rebounds.
• Justin Johnson is 27th on WKU's all-time scoring list with 1,238 career points. He needs eight points to pass Mike Wells to move into 26th.
• Justin Johnson currently ranks ninth on WKU's all-time list for career field goal percentage at 54.3 percent. He's just over two percentage points from fifth place.
• Justin Johnson needs 214 rebounds to reach 1,000 for his career. That would make him just the fifth player in WKU history with 1,000 career points and 1,000 rebounds, joining Tom Marshall, Art Spoelstra, Ralph Crosthwaite and Jim McDaniels, the last to accomplish the feat in 1971.
• Lamonte Bearden is 189 points from reaching 1,000 for his career across his time at Buffalo and WKU.
