WKU to Hold First-Ever Diving Clinic

BOWLING GREEN, KY.--The WKU diving team will be hosting its first-ever diving clinic, helping participants of all ages improve in the three critical factors in diving education: fun, safety and confidence.

There will be three clinics offered to participants with a minimum age of 6. The first will take place on Sunday, Nov. 2 from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m., the second on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 2 p.m.-6:30 p.m. while the last takes place on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 7:30 a.m.-Noon. The cost is $105 per participant, as money goes toward helping the divers pay for their winter training trip and other training expenses. Registration can be found at the clinic website and must be received by noon the day before, as walk-ins will depend on availability.

The lessons take place at the Preston Center as well as E.A. Diddle Arena. Divers will check in at Diddle Arena next to the ticket offices and will be picked up at the Preston Center.

The clinic will consist of dryland training to help maximize progress and corrections along with water training to work on any or all diving skills. All level of divers are welcomed, as the clinic will help those who are looking to learn the basics all the way to those who have a lot of experience but need extra help to get even better.
