WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.--Western Kentucky University divers Caitlin Dean and Giorgi Meyer wrapped their first day of competition at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships on Thursday afternoon at Purdue's Boilermaker Aquatic Center.
Senior Dean placed 47th in the three-meter prelims with a score of 209.45. Freshman Meyer finished 21st on the one-meter evaluations after posting a score 278.20, just three spots shy of making the finals.
Zone Championships continue on Friday, March 15 with each gender doing its other respecive springboard prelim and finals. The competition begins at 1 p.m. ET.
