Hello Hilltopper Fans!!!!
My name is Shelby Taylor, I am a sophomore outfielder from Louisville, KY, but Bowling Green is my home! I'm majoring in education and I can't wait to begin teaching after I graduate. I love Western Kentucky University and everything about it...especially the softball team ☺
Unfortunately our team ran into some hard times this past weekend as we opened conference play against South Alabama. We suffered three tough losses in the series against the Jaguars, but we plan to make that the last conference series lost by WKU softball. We are all very determined to come out to practice this week ready to focus and work on the plan that works for our team. We have found our identity and we know what works for us, now all we have to do is execute!!
We plan to come out a refocused, driven team that refuses to lose in our upcoming games against Belmont Tuesday, March 22nd. Then we're going to carry that momentum into our next conference series against Florida Atlantic University on March 26th and 27th. All of our games this week will be played (and won) at home so I encourage you all to come check us out and see what WKU softball is all about!!!!
