Karl Swanson had the top finish for WKU, placing sixth in the 1650 free in a time of 16:07.81. In the preliminaries of the men’s 200 butterfly, Brian Lewis placed tenth in 1:55.83, but did not compete in the finals.
Head coach Bill Powell’s squads will have an extended break through the holidays, returning to action Thursday, Jan. 6 against the College of Charleston. The Hilltoppers next home event will take place Jan. 29 against Southwest Missouri State.
