WKU sophomore, Robby Shaw (So.-Louisville, Ky.), fired a 70 in the final round of the tournament which gave him a total of 211 strokes, five under par. Shaw's average strokes per round for the tournament was 70.33. He finished tied for 17th place on the leader board.

The USA Fall Beach Classic marked the Hilltoppers final tournament of the fall season. The team finished with a collective score of 853. The WKU squad looks to work very hard over the fall season in an attempt to win a tournament in the spring season. Nothing would make the Toppers happier than winning the tournament hosted by them, the Kauai Intercollegiate in Kauai, Hawaii, near the end of March 2004.
