BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Will Easterlin of WKU men's golf has been named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team, the league announced on Friday.
Easterlin is the first WKU golfer to be named to the CUSA All-Freshman Team since WKU joined the league.
The Americus, Georgia native led WKU in two tournaments this season (Virtues Intercollegiate and Military City Collegiate). The freshman's best finish came in the Virtues Intercollegiate, where he finished in 16th place. His best score of the season was 1-over, doing so in the Virtues Intercollegiate, Cullan Brown Invitational and the Purdue Fall Invitational. His best 18-hole score of the season also came in the Virtues Intercollegiate, where he fired a 68 in the first round.
