BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Jamie Hagedorn, a native of Waverly, Ky. and captain of the Western Kentucky Lady Topper golf team during the 1999-2000 season, fired a six-over par to win the women's division of the UnitedHealthcare Persimmon Ridge Invitational in Louisville on May 21. Hagedorn shot a final round 76 to win the event by seven shots over defending champion and former WKU golfer Kim Hartlage of Elizabethtown.
Hagedorn completed her collegiate eligibility this past season, providing veteran leadership for coach Chuck Eison's young team. She lead the Lady Toppers with an 82.24 stroke average competing in all eight tournaments during the season. She also compiled four top-20 finishes, and was the top finisher for Western in three events.
