An NFCA Third-Team All-Region nominee, Shelby Nunn joins her alma mater on The Hill as a part of Amy Tudor’s staff for the 2023 season as a coaching graduate assistant.
The right-handed pitcher Posted a 23-7 record in the circle with a 1.87 ERA in her senior season, while earning the complete-game win over No. 5 Alabama while allowing zero earned runs to the Tide – the only pitcher in the country to achieve the feat.
Collectively ranks at the top of most circle appearances in a single season in her freshman campaign (44), and in the top-five in program history in relief appearances and saves.
Named to the C-USA All-Freshman team in 2018, followed by a Second Team All-Conference nomination, C-USA All-Tournament Team in 2021 and 2022, First Team All-Conference, and the 2022 C-USA Preseason Pitcher of the Year.
A Bowling Green native, Nunn graduated from South Warren HS to go on and earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Western Kentucky.
