2021 (Fifth Year): Used her extra year of eligibility to further cement her legendary status with WKU Soccer…Finished with the fourth most career starts by a Lady Topper with 74 and is tied for the 10th most game appearances in WKU history with 80…Named to the All-Conference USA First Team and the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team…Earned C-USA Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 31…Tabbed United Soccer Coaches Academic All-Region Second Team...Tied as the team’s leading goal scorer with four on the season…Also had three assists for 11 total points, the second most on the team…Scored the game-winning goal three times on the season, which was the second most in C-USA…Major part of the WKU defense that held opponents to 13 goals on the season, which is tied for the second fewest in a WKU season…The defense also recorded a 0.834 goals against average on the season, which ranks 46th nationally…Played the most minutes of any WKU player in 2021…Started in all 16 matches…Got off 11 shots on the season, including a season high two shots against UTEP…Had the game-winners against Belmont, Middle Tennessee and Rice…Also scored against Vanderbilt…Went 3-3 on penalty kicks…Notched assists against Union (Tenn.), Vanderbilt and at FIU with two of those assists coming on game-winners...Earned the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal and was named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2021-22 academic year.
2020-21 (Senior): Named to the All-Conference USA First Team…Earned United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Second Team honors…Tabbed C-USA All-Tournament Team following the C-USA Championship…Given the United Soccer Coaches Player of Distinction Award...Earned C-USA Defensive Player of the Week honors on Feb. 23…Played and started in all 12 matches for the Lady Toppers and was the only WKU player to play every minute of the season…Scored her first career goal against Middle Tennessee and notched the assist on the game-winner…She also recorded an assist against Southern Illinois…Jacobsen was a major part of the WKU backline that held opponents to only 13 goals on the season, the second fewest by a WKU team in school history…The WKU defense also shut out five opponents and held teams to only 9.1 shots per game and 3.7 shots on goal per game…Named to the 2020-21 C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll...Named to the Dean's List in the spring.
2019 (Junior): Picked up Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week honors on Aug. 26…Played a major role in WKU's defense holding opponents to only 19 goals, the ninth fewest in program history…Played 1,683 total minutes in 2019, the third most by a Lady Topper this season…Got the starting nod in all 18 matches…Tied for the second most assists on the team with three on the season…Assisted on the first WKU goal of the season…Notched a helper against Charlotte…Set up the match-winning goal against UAB…Named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll...Earned Dean's List honors in the fall semester and was named to the President's List in the spring.
2018 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 17 matches with 16 starts in 2018… Played 1,465 minutes, the most by any underclassman field player… Played 90 or more minutes in eight matches… Tallied a pair of assists, both of which came during C-USA play against UTEP (Oct. 7) and Marshall (Oct. 26)… Put four of her five shots on goal, including a season-best two at Louisiana Tech (Sept. 23).
2017 (Freshman): Appeared in all 17 matches during her first season on The Hill, drawing starts in 12 of them... Put her lone shot of the season on goal against FIU (Oct. 15)... Played 90 or more minutes in seven matches and her 1,259 minutes on the season led all Lady Topper freshmen in 2017.
Prior to WKU: A former U.S. Club soccer national champion, Jacobsen brings nearly five years of club experience to the Lady Toppers and has been a mainstay at the ODP level since 2012... Has seen tremendous club success beginning with 2013 titles at the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup College Showcase Tournament and the Surf Cup Thanksgiving Tournament... Continued to excel with a Nevada State Cup championship and the Far West Regional League championship in 2014... Shined on the national stage, reaching the ECNL National Championships with Las Vegas Premier ECNL in Richmond, Va., in 2015 before her club career culminated in the ultimate prize, the 2016 U.S. Club soccer national championship with the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club... A 2017 nominee for both the Gatorade Player of the Year and the Nevada Preps Player of the Year, Jacobsen has served as a team captain for Palo Verde High School since 2015, earning back-to-back defensive MVP awards and a nod on the Nevada Preps Best of Nevada All-State First Team.
