Chase Wilson joined the WKU Football staff prior to the 2024 season. The 2025 season will be his second with the program. He currently works as a Graduate Assistant, primarily coaching tight ends.
Wilson coached a tight end room in 2024 that overcame several injuries but still remained productive. River Helms caught 19 passes for 228 yards and two touchdowns in seven games prior to suffering a season-ending injury, Trevor Borland caught a pair of touchdown passes and Noah Meyers stepped into a starting role as a redshirt freshman to catch seven passes for 123 yards and a score.
Wilson joined the WKU staff after working as a Graduate Assistant at Murray State.
Wilson is a native of Scottsville, Kentucky, and began his playing career as a quarterback at Division II Kentucky Wesleyan, before transferring to NAIA Campbellsville.
