BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Football fans are invited to be a part of two tailgate opportunities at Hilltopper road games this season!
WKU Athletics and the WKU Alumni Association will host tailgates prior to the WKU Football game at Georgia on Saturday, Sept. 12, and at Indiana on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The Hilltoppers are scheduled to kick off against the Bulldogs at 11:45 a.m. CT at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia. WKU will host a Hilltopper Hangout from 9 a.m. CT – 11 a.m. CT at the Richard B. Russell Building Special Collections Library (300 S. Hull Street; Athens, GA 30605). A WKU tent will be located between Hull and Lumpkin Streets directly in front of the Special Collections Library, which is just a 5-minute walk to the stadium. WKU Football will face Indiana at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana. Prior to the game, fans are invited to tailgate from 11:30 a.m. CT – 2 p.m. CT at a WKU fan area located off of Fee Lane behind Gladstein Fieldhouse, just a half mile from the stadium. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be available while supplies last, and a cash bar will be available. For more information about the tailgate or to register, click HERE.
WKU is scheduled to open the 2026 season at Nevada on Saturday, Sept. 5. Kickoff at Mackay Stadium is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. For the full 2026 WKU Football schedule, click HERE.
