Alli Lumpkin was named WKU Head Cheerleading Coach and Spirit Program Coordinator in August 2020.

Lumpkin brings significant experience in the college and national ranks, including a six-year run as an assistant coach for the USA Coed National Cheerleading Team.

The Glasgow, Ky., native has also been an assistant coach at Jones Community College in Mississippi for eight years, as well as the owner of all-star gym Gem of Champions in D’Iberville, Miss., for 11 years.

Lumpkin frequently attended WKU Cheer’s clinics while she was in high school and received training from the programs former coaches in Glasgow and Bowling Green.

In her time with the U.S. National Team, the program was named gold medalists at the ICU World Championships from 2016-19, and a silver medalist in 2015. Her teams at Jones Community College took second place at the UCA National Championship in 2019 and 2020.

As a participant, Lumpkin was a three-time national champion as a cheerleader at the University of Kentucky from 2007-11. She was a two-time gold medalist with the USA Coed National Team, as well as a gold and silver medalist for the ICU Partner Stunt Division.

She is married to her stunt partner from those accomplishments, Jeremy Lumpkin, and they have one daughter, Zella.
