2017 (RS Junior): After making a full recovery from labrum surgery, Morrison made his season debut by pitching a scoreless inning April 14 vs. Charlotte ... In 7 appearances out of the WKU bullpen, he did not allow a run in 5 of them ... Threw a career-best 2 scoreless and hitless frames May 14 vs. Florida Atlantic, earning the win for the Hilltoppers on Senior Day with a pair of strikeouts ... Posted a 3.52 ERA, which ranked second on the club, in 7.2 innings of work ... Led the club with a .259 batting average against.
2016 (Junior): Missed the season and redshirted while recovering from injury.
2015 (Sophomore): Led WKU with 10.89 strikeouts per 9 innings and 6 saves in his first season as the team's primary closer ... Finished seventh in Conference USA with 6 saves and was named to the league’s All-Academic Team ... Was perfect in the first 3 save situations of his career, successfully closing out wins against Evansville, Southern Illinois and Belmont ... Retired the Coastal Carolina side in 9 pitches to secure WKU’s first win of 2015 ... Ranked third on the Hilltopper pitching staff with 20 appearances and went 2-1 with a 4.79 ERA ... Picked up his first-career win in an extra-inning thriller at Louisiana Tech, tossing 1.2 scoreless innings ... His second win was another extra-inning contest against Austin Peay, as he retired 6-of-7 batters he faced via strikeout in the ninth and 10th innings.
2014 (Freshman): Morrison saw limited action as a rookie, appearing in only 3 games with 3 innings of work ... 2 of those innings came at Georgia, where he recorded a strikeout before being touched up for 5 runs on 4 hits late in a loss ... Made his first career appearance against UNC Asheville on Feb. 23 and threw 0.2 perfect innings of the 13-2 win ... Final appearance of 2014 came March 22 against Texas State.
At Bowling Green HS: Was a 4-year letterwinner and 3-year starter in the Purples’ outfield, earning All-District honors in both his junior and senior seasons ... Was named All-State in 2013 after batting .401 with 2 home runs ... Also earned 4 soccer letters.
