BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Volleyball will host a red & white scrimmage and volleyball 101 on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 12 p.m. CT.
The outing will open with an intrasquad scrimmage open to the public at 12 p.m., before shifting into a youth clinic with the WKU players and assistant coaches while head coach Travis Hudson conducts an educational session in the Paul Just Media Center to break down the game and strategies.
WKU Volleyball 101 is designed to educate fans of all experience levels that would like to learn more about the sport of volleyball. Whether you have never seen a volleyball match before or you want to learn more about the college coaching strategies, this event has something for you.
Action begins at 12 p.m. CT on the Diddle Arena main court with an hour long WKU Volleyball scrimmage. At 1 p.m., the Hilltopper players will stay in the arena and share the game they love with young fans in an hour-long youth clinic while everyone else heads over to the media room with Coach Hudson to learn the ins and outs of the sport plus much more.
Fans can park in Parking Structure 2, levels 2-5, located between Diddle Arena and Houchens-Smith Stadium.

HILLTOPPER ASSIST
The Hilltopper Assist is a scholarship donation from the Wiseman Family for WKU Students. The scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship for eligible WKU Students for the following matches: Pepperdine on Thursday, Sept. 10, Louisville on Wednesday, Sept. 16, and Oklahoma on Thursday, Sept. 17. In order to participate in the lottery, a minimum of 100 students must be in attendance for each match. The winner will be announced between the second and third sets of the matches listed above. A student can only win the lottery one time.
