ABOUT THE TOPSÂ
- WKU wrapped indoor competition for the 2025-26 season at the 2026 Conference USA Indoor Championships in Lynchburg, Va., posting the best finish for the program since 2017
- Seven Hilltoppers were named All-CUSA throughout the two-day event and WKU managed to set a total of 16 PR's
- Day two of the event saw WKU finish with two medalists and three personal bests
- The men claimed a fifth place finish in the meet with 60.5 points, the most since 2017 (100), while the women took seventh place with 31.6 points; the seventh place finish for the women marked the best finish in a meet since 2017
- Van Thrasher became the first Hilltopper to earn a medal on day two, taking the bronze in the high jump with a mark of 2.03 meters
- For the second straight year Kameron Horton earned All-CUSA honors in the 200 with a silver medal in the event with a time of 20.93
- Brooke Greenwell set a PR in the mile final with a time of 4:57.36, finishing in tenth place
- Trevor Hudnall set a new personal best in the men's mile, finishing inside the top-five with a fourth place finish of 4:08.38
- Ricardo Smith was the third Hilltopper to set a PR on Saturday with an 8.28 finish in the 60-meter hurdle finals
