Throughout the two-day meet seven Hilltoppers were named All-CUSA and WKU managed to set a total of 16 PR's throughout the meet. On Saturday, WKU had two medalists and three personal bests.
When the final results were tallied the men claimed a fifth place finish in the meet with 60.5 points, the most since 2017 (100). The women took seventh place with 31.6 points. The seventh place finish for the women is the best finish in a meet since 2017.
HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
Action Saturday started with the mile finals. Brooke Greenwell competed in the women's final and set a PR in the event. In the men's final Trevor Hudnall claimed fourth and set a new personal record of 4:08.38.
In the men's 60-hurdles final a pair of Hilltoppers competed in Van Thrasher and Ricardo Smith. Thrasher took seventh and Smith took eighth with a PR in the event. The men's 400 followed the 60-hurdles and Brunel Desinor managed a season best finish of 47.62.
For the second straight season, Kameron Horton medaled in the indoor 200-finals, taking the silver medal in the 2026 edition. His finish of 20.93 was a season best for the junior from Louisville, Ky.
In the 3000 races a pair of Hilltoppers claimed top-10 finishes. In the women's race Kinley Kunkel claimed eighth and Mikie Carnell took eighth in the men's event.Â
The final events of the meet were the 4x400 relays. In the men's relay the Hilltoppers' group of Leland Taylor, Desinor, Zachariah Taylor, Carter Vinson managed a season best mark of 3:12.99. That also ranks in the top-100 in NCAA DI this season.

- In total, three Hilltoppers set a new PR on Saturday afternoon.
- The men finished up in fifth place with 60.5 points, the best finish for the men since the 2017 edition of the meet. That year WKU finished up in second with 100 points.
- The women finished in seventh place with 33 points. This was the best team finish for the women since 2017 when they took fifth place.
- Van Thrasher became the first Hilltopper Saturday to earn a medal, taking the bronze in the high jump with a mark of 2.03 meters.
- For the second straight year Kameron Horton earned All-CUSA honors in the 200 with a silver medal in the event with a time of 20.93.
- Brooke Greenwell set a PR in the mile final with a time of 4:57.36, finishing up in 10th place.
- In the men's mile Trevor Hudnall set a new personal best, finishing inside the top-five with a fourth place finish of 4:08.38.
- Ricardo Smith was the third Hilltopper to set a PR Saturday with an 8.28 finish in the 60-meter hurdle finals.
