ABOUT THE LADY TOPPERS
- WKU enters Sunday's match with a 5-5 overall record and a 3-2 record at home this season.
- The Lady Toppers are coming off a road trip to Richmond, Kentucky, last weekend, where they split matches against UNC Asheville and Eastern Kentucky. WKU beat the Bulldogs 5-2 on Saturday, Feb. 14, and lost to the Colonels 4-2 on Sunday.
- Virginia Madueño has led the Lady Toppers in singles play this season. The true freshman has won seven consecutive matches and is now 8-1 this season, with a 4-0 record at the No. 4 position and a 4-1 record at the No. 5 position.
- Andra Sirbu and Emily Schut are each 6-4 in singles play this season. Sirbu is 6-3 at the No. 2 position, while Schut has won her last three matches, which were played at the No. 3 position.
- Isabelle Einess and Ariadna Fernandez are each 5-4 in singles play this season. Einess has played all of her matches at the No. 1 position, while Fernandez is 4-3 at No. 6 and 1-1 at the No. 5 position.
- WKU has won the doubles point in four of its 10 matches. The Lady Toppers have won all four matches that they have won the doubles point.
- Barbara Olvera and Madueño have been the doubles team with the best record this season for WKU at 5-3. They are 3-2 at the No. 2 doubles positions and 2-1 at the No. 3 doubles position.
