QUOTABLES
- "It was good to get our first win of the season. We had some good performances in singles. I thought Virginia and Isabelle played really well, and I thought we competed very well at a lot of the positions. In doubles, we're still working on trying to find a way to get better. Overall, I thought it was a good match for us. Now we've got to get ready for a doubleheader next Friday and the teeth of the schedule coming up." – WKU Women's Tennis Head Coach Greg Davis, on the win over NKU.
- "I think the biggest thing was staying consistent and pushing through. We know what to do, but just keep going forward in practice and matches. It was a great win." – WKU Women's Tennis senior Elizabeth Sobieski, on the win over NKU on Friday.
- "I think (the key) was the team aspect – just cheering everyone on and making sure we were all there for each other. Cheering at the right times can really turn around a match and lift us up, both individually and as a team." – WKU Women's Tennis sophomore Isabelle Einess, on the win over NKU.
