ABOUT THE TOPS
- Through 17 games, Zsofia Telegdy and Salma Khedr are the leading scorers for the Lady Toppers, averaging 9.4 points per game each. Telegdy is also the team's leading rebounder, pulling down 4.5 boards per game.
- The Lady Toppers finished non-conference play with wins against Kentucky State, Wichita State, Southern Illinois and North Dakota.
- Against the Salukis, WKU had nine team blocks which is the tied for the seventh most in program history.
- The Lady Toppers are averaging 4.4 blocks per game this season, leading Conference USA and ranking 50th in the nation.
- Scoring has been balanced for the Lady Toppers this season. Through 17 games, WKU has had eight different leading scorers (Salma Khedr four times, Torri James and Zsofia Telegdy three times, Tia Shelling, Tatum Boettjer and Jeniffer Silva twice, and Caleigh-Rose West and Trinity Rowe once).
- WKU returns eight from the 2024-25 roster in Zsofia Telegdy, Torri James, Tia Shelling, Caleigh-Rose West, Mya Pratcher, Tatum Boettjer, Yendri Acosta and Salma Khedr. Telegdy is the only returning starter from a season ago. Boettjer made her Lady Topper debut after sitting out the 2024-25 season due to injury.
- The 2025-26 roster is a veteran one with six seniors or fifth years. While the roster is an older one, no player has been at WKU longer than two seasons.
- WKU has international flavor once again with six international players. That is the most on a Lady Topper team all time, topping last season's five international players.
- The Lady Toppers were picked fifth in the Conference USA preseason poll behind Louisiana Tech, Liberty, Middle Tennessee and Missouri State. WKU has met or exceeded their placement in the CUSA preseason poll in seven of the last nine seasons.
- Trinity Rowe is the 15th Miss Kentucky Basketball to play at WKU all time and the first since Ivy Brown (2015-18). The fifteen Miss Kentucky Basketball winners that have suited up for the Lady Toppers are the most for any team in the country.
- Greg Collins is in his eighth season as head coach at WKU, which is the third longest tenure of any Lady Topper head coach all time.

- Thursday's game will be the eighth in the all-time series between WKU and Liberty. The Flames own a 6-1 record against the Lady Toppers.

- Liberty is off to a 2-3 start to CUSA play with wins against New Mexico State and UTEP and losses to Sam Houston, Louisiana Tech and Delaware.
- In non-conference play, the Flames had wins against Frostburg State, East Carolina, UVA Wise, Duquesne, Manhattan and George Mason and losses to James Madison, No. 11 Duke, Richmond, Hawai'I and Oregon State.
- Avery Mills is the team' leading scorer, putting up 15.9 points per game. Emmy Stout is right behind her, averaging 15.1 points per game. Ify Nwaobi is the team's leading rebounder, pulling down 9.6 boards per game.
- Mills leads CUSA in 3-point percentage (40.7), made 3-pointers (50) and 3-pointers per game (3.13).
