The teams that finished above WKU were Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Arizona State, Baylor, Indiana, Clemson, Louisville and Charleston.
NOTABLES
- Senior Sydney Hackett closed out the tournament with her best round of the event, shooting 2-under (69) for the round. Her total score for the tournament was 216 (+3), putting her in a tie for 19th place. She has finished in the top 20 of all three tournaments WKU has played in this season. It was the 24th top 20 finish of her career.
- Junior Grace Frei carded a 77 (+6) in the final round to bringing her total score to 223 (+10) for the tournament putting her in a tie for 44th place.
- Freshman Reagan Ramage had the second-best score of the day for the Lady Toppers, firing a 75 (+4) for the round. Her total score for the tournament was 225 (+12) putting her in a tie for 54th place.
- Freshman Leah Edwards posted a 77 (+6) for the third round, bringing her total to 226 (+13) for the tournament. She finished in 63rd place.
- Senior Averi Cline also shot a 77 (+6) in the round. She finished with a total score of 228 (+15) for a tie in 68th place.
- Sophomore Kaylee Dwyer, playing as an individual, posted an 81 in the final round. Her total score of 229 (+16) put her in a tie for 72nd place.
QUOTABLE
"We didn't have our best stuff this week but I'm grateful we picked up 6 wins in a very strong field," said head coach Adam Gary. "Sydney had a great final round to lead the team. I think everyone is looking forward to a week at home before our next one."
