- Senior Sydney Hackett bounced back after a pair of bogeys to start the day, posting three straight birdies to get her under par. She finished the day 2-under, carding a 69 for the round, putting her in a tie for fourth place heading into the second day. She had four birdies on the day, which is tied for the second most of any player in the field.
- Freshman Reagan Ramage shot a 72 (+1) for the day, putting her in a tie for 21st place.
- Freshman Leah Edwards posted a 73 (+2) for the round, claiming a tie for 32nd place.
- Senior Averi Cline finished the round 8-over par (79) and tied for 68th place.
- Junior Grace Frei carded an 83 (+12) for the round for a 77th place for the day.

"It's nice to be able to play in some new events against a good field," said head coach Adam Gary. "I'm proud of how Sydney battled back after a slow start to finish under par. We need to find a way to limit the mistakes the rest of the tournament. I'm glad we still have two rounds left."
