NOTABLES
- Senior Sydney Hackett earned second place with an overall score of 208 (-8) for the tournament after firing a 71 in the final round. It was the 10th time the senior has finished in the top five of a tournament and her 13th top 10 finish of her career.
- Freshman Leah Edwards posted a 75 (+3) for the final round to bring her overall score to 216 (even) for the tournament, putting her in 10th place in the field. It was the first top 10 finish of her young career. Edwards made par on 41 holes in the tournament, the most of any player in the field.
- Senior Averi Cline had her best round of the tournament on Tuesday, posting a 73 (+1) for the day. She finished in a tie for 28th place with a score of 223 (+7).
- Freshman Reagan Ramage fired a 74 (+2) in the final round to finish in a tie for 35th place with an overall score of 224 (+8).
- Sophomore Kaylee Dwyer posted a 79 (+7) in the final round to finish in a tie for 49th place with an overall score of 229 (+13).
- Julia Zigrossi, playing as an individual, shot a 78 (+6) for the day. She finished in a tie for 54th place with an overall score of 230 (+14).
- WKU made par on 191 holes in the tournament which was the most of any team in the field. The Lady Toppers had two eagles throughout the tournament, which was tied for the most. WKU's 5.00 stroke average on Par 5 holes was tied for the third most and the 4.08 stroke average on Par 4 holes was third.
QUOTABLE
"I feel like we are trending the right direction," said head coach Adam Gary. "We did a lot of good things this week. It was nice to be in contention, and I feel like we learned a lot. Now it's a short turn around and we are ready to go this weekend at Vandy."
