- Through the first round, WKU has made par on 62 holes as a team, the most of any team in the field. The Lady Toppers' 4.11 stroke average on Par 4 holes is the fourth best average in the tournament.
- Reagan Ramage, Averi Cline and Sydney Hackett are all tied in 27th place with 1-over scores (72) through the first round. Cline made par on 15 holes in the first round, tying for the most in the tournament.
- Grace Frei and Leah Edwards are tied in 39th place with 2-over scores (73) in the first round.
- Kaylee Dwyer, playing as an individual, is tied for 71st place with a 6-over score (77).
QUOTABLE
"I'm proud of the steady start today," said head coach Adam Gary. "Everyone did a good job of staying present and focused on a tough course against a very tough field. I would say this is the toughest field we will face this year. We still have a lot of golf left and look forward to the opportunity."
