AT THE MATCH
- Thursday will serve as a Weekday World Cup, with themed events throughout the match.
- Concessions will have an international flare to coincide with the World Cup theme.
- There will also be a special halftime performance by the WKU Drumline.Â
- Youth can also participate in a halftime tunnel for the players to run through at the end of the halftime break.
- Fans can park in the Creason Lot.

ABOUT THE TOPS
- The Hilltoppers enter the matchup with a record of 2-1, defeating Rio Grande (Ohio) and Jackson State.
- WKU defeated Jackson State 1-0 in their home opener last Thursday.
- Abby Wiedermann headlined the action, scoring the winning goal in the third minute of the match. Wiedermann added two shots, playing the full 90 minutes.
- Georgia Liapis added four shots including one on goal. Liapis was also credited with the assist on Wiedermann's goal in the third minute.
- Mia Merritt finished with three shots and one on goal in 69 minutes of action.
- Danielle Lewin finished with two shots in 21 minutes.
- Goalkeeper duties were split between the freshman Kendall Mix and Maddie Davis.
- Davis came in at the break and charted two saves in 45 minutes.
- WKU finished with 15 total shots including 10 in the first half alone.
- The Tops shut down the Tigers in the first half allowing no shots.Â
- The win also marked the second straight shutout for the Hilltoppers.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
- The Flyers boast a record of 1-1-1. They started the season off with a 2-0 win at Wright State.
- Dayton then faced No. 12 Michigan State resulting in a 0-0 draw.
- In their home opener last Sunday, the Flyers fell to Pitt, 3-0.
- Dayton was picked to finish second in the A10 Preseason Poll. The Flyers are led by Preseason All-Conference members Liv Grenda, Kyra Karfonta, Batoul Reda, and Laney Smith.
SERIES INFORMATION
- Thursday's matchup will be the second ever meeting between WKU and Dayton.
- The two last took to the pitch on Sept. 5, 2024 in Dayton. The Flyers won with a 3-0 decision.
- Dayton is a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Flyers have 21 conference titles and post an all-time record of 524-241-69.
