- Thursday will serve as the home opener for WKU Soccer, all fans are encouraged to bring in new school supplies for local schools as part of a back to school drive.
- There will also be a $3 special on select 12 oz. beer and $2 water.

ABOUT THE TOPS
- WKU went 1-1 in their first weekend of the 2025 season. Falling to Ohio 2-0 and defeating Rio Grande (Ohio) 10-0.
- WKU scored 10 goals as a team, which stands alone as the second most in the 25 year history of the program.
- As a team, the Hilltoppers finished with 22 total shots and 14 on goal.
- WKU only allowed one shot in the match.
- Camryn Davis finished with three goals on three shots. Davis scored all three goals in the first 12 minutes of the match.
- Georgia Liapis scored her first goal of the year in the 59th minute. She would add one in the 83rd minute, and again in the 90th minute, finishing the day with five total shots and a hat trick.
- Davis' and Liapis' hat-tricks tie the most goals scored by a player in a single match, marking the first for a WKU player since 2018. (Ashley Leonard).
- This was also the first time in program history that multiple players recorded a hat-trick in a single game.Â
- Danielle Lewin scored her first goal as a Hilltopper, marking the ninth of her career. Lewin would finish withÂ
- Ashton Lynam scored her first goal of the season in the 42nd minute of the match. Makenna Egan was credited with the assist, marking the first of her WKU career.
SERIES INFORMATION
- Thursday's matchup will be the first ever meeting between the Hilltoppers and Tigers.
- Jackson State has been a program since 2002. The Tigers have won four SWAC titles in their history.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
- In their first weekend of action, Jackson State dropped a 4-0 decision Thursday at Kentucky and fell to MTSU 3-0 on Sunday.
- Against MTSU, Jackson State's goalkeeper managed 10 saves on 19 shots, allowing three goals.
- In 2024, the Tigers posted a 2-9-4 record, including a 2-2-4 mark in league play.
- Jackson State fell to Alabama A&M in the first round of the 2024 SWAC Tournament.
