- Last time out, the Tops competed in the Jim Green Invitational in Lexington, Ky.
- In total, the Hilltoppers managed 11 new personal bests when action concluded Saturday.
- In the men's pole vault, Sam Crenshaw managed a mark of 5.04 meters. This earned him a third place finish in the event. With his finish last week, he now holds the top-two marks in program history.
- In the women's pole vault, Natalie Papes set a personal best in a second consecutive meet with a mark of 3.94 meters, good for fifth place.
- In the women's 800, the duo of Kalina Urbaniak and Nayla Martin both managed new personal bests. Urbaniak led the way with a mark of 2:15. Martin finished up in 2:16.
- Rowen Wilkinson charted a new personal best in the men's 800, checking in at 1:59.28.
- In the women's 5000 meter race, Kinley Kunkel not only set a personal best but also managed a top-five finish with a time of 16:56.
- In the men's javelin, Blake Foster set a new PR with a mark of 51.63, good for sixth place in the event. Joey Raybourne also set a PR in the javelin with a toss of 48.02 meters.
EVENT BREAKDOWN
- Action Friday will get underway with the decathlon and heptathlon slated for 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. All times Central Daylight.
- Field events kick off with the women's long jump at 2 p.m. with the women's pole vault slated to close things out at 5 p.m.
- On the track, action gets underway with the 1,500 meter races set for 6 p.m. The final track event of Friday, the 10,000 meter races, are slated for 8:20 and 9 p.m.
- Day two action gets underway with the decathlon at 9 a.m.
- The women's and men's shot put starts off field events on Saturday with a 3 p.m. start time. The high jump will round out Saturday events slated for 5:30 p.m.
- The track events get underway at 6:30 with the 800 meter run with the 3,000 meter steeplechase closing out Saturday action at 8:30 p.m.
- Sunday events will start out with the javelin throw set for 11 a.m. with field events running throughout the day, culminating in the men's triple jump at 7 p.m.
- On the track, the 4x100 relays will get underway at 6 p.m.
- The final event of the championship meet, the 4x400 relays are set for 8:50 p.m.

SCOUTING THE FIELD
- The Hilltoppers will be competing against all nine other Conference USA schools.
- The lone newcomer that wasn't at the meet last season is Kennesaw State who joined the league in July of 2024.
- At the indoor league championships, Liberty took home the women's team title while Kennesaw State took home the men's crown.
MEET HISTORY
- Last season at the Conference USA Championships, WKU managed a total of five podium finishers when action had wrapped up in El Paso.
- Three of the five podium finishers for WKU will compete this season in the outdoor championships.
- Devon Rogers came onto the scene as a freshman and charted a silver medal finish in the men's javelin.
- Kaison Barton managed a bronze medal finish in the shot put. This marked the second time the senior from Semmes, Ala. earned a medal finish in the outdoor meet.
- Brunel Desinor was the lone Hilltopper on the track to score a podium finish, claiming the bronze medal in the 400-meter dash. Desinor ended up earning Conference USA Newcomer of the Year last season, marking the first time a Hilltopper has won the award since joining the league in 2014.
