WKU Travels to Louisville for Tuesday Matchup

BOWLING GREEN Ky. -- After sweeping Conference USA opponent New Mexico State, WKU Softball looks to continue their success at Louisville on Tuesday.

Erica Houge had herself a weekend earning two wins in relief. In her 8.1 innings of relief, she posted an almost invisible ERA of 0.85. She allowed only four hits, one run, and one walk while collecting a total of six strikeouts. On the weekend, she finished with a .138 batting average against.
Kennedy Stinson extended her hitting streak to seven games. Against NMSU she was 4-for-9 (.444) with four hits. Two of those hits were home runs, including her first career grand slam on Friday.
Kennedy Stinson has also been on a tear for the Hilltoppers. In the past seven games, she's going 12-for-22 for a .545 batting average with five extra-base hits including three home runs. She's also racked up 11 RBI in the same time frame.
Maci Masters is currently ranked 29th in CUSA for batting average (.320), she currently leads the team in RBI (41) and hits (40). Masters also has 12 home runs on the season, five short of the all-time single-season record.
In the CUSA rankings, Masters is third in home runs (14), tied for third in RBI (41), fourth in slugging percentage (.712), and fifth in OPS (1.150).
Maci Masters leads the Hilltoppers in multi-hit games with 11, her most recent multi-hit game coming on Game One against MTSU on April 11 with two hits.
Randi Drinnon continues to hold the lead in CUSA in sacrifice bunts with eight.
In the bullpen, for pitchers with at least ten appearances, Maddy Wood leads with a 3.29 ERA.
Rylan Smith leads CUSA in batters struck out looking with 37 and is fifth in the conference in opposing batting average (.229).

ABOUT THE CARDINALS

Louisville just came off a three-game series against Virginia, going 1-2 on the weekend.
Easton Lotus leads the Cardinals with a .388 batting average and a .914 on-base percentage. Char Lorenz is their biggest bat with seven home runs on the year, a .359 batting average, and a .664 slugging percentage.
