- The meet was headlined by the performance of graduate senior Kaison Barton.
- On Friday, Barton set the program record in the men's hammer throw with a 209' 7" throw, breaking the previous record of 203' set back in 2015.
- Barton added a second place finish in the shot put and a in the discus.
- His performance put the league on notice as he was named the Conference USA Male Field Athlete of the Week following his stellar weekend.
- In the men's hammer throw alone, five Hilltoppers including Barton set a personal best in the event.
- In the women's long jump, a trio of Hilltoppers set new personal bests with Haley Zell leading the charge, notching a first place finish.
- On Saturday, Kameron Horton had a career day with a personal record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.40.
- In track events, he was joined by Madison Rabe who set a new best in the 100-meter hurdles as well as Zell who did so in the women's 100.
- In field events, LeAndre Bolen took home second place in the men's discus, setting a new PR with a mark of 48.77 meters.
- Kennedy Coradini managed a new personal best in the javelin throw with a toss of 34.75 meters, good for second place.
TENNESSEE INVITATIONAL EVENT BREAKDOWN
- Action Friday will get underway with the women's hammer throw slated for 8 a.m. CT. That will be followed up by the men's discus at 11 a.m.
- Friday field events will close out with the men's and women's javelin slated for 4 p.m.
- On the track, action will kick off with the women's 1500 slated for 2 p.m. followed by the men's event. The final track event of Friday, the 5000, will get underway at 6 p.m.
- On Saturday, track events kick off with the 100 hurdles at 11 a.m. and will end with the 4x400 relays at 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday field events will start with the men's hammer throw at 8 a.m. and will wrap up at 2 p.m. with the men's triple jump

- Vaulters will get underway on Friday with the women's pole vault slated for 12:30 p.m. CT. The men's will follow after the conclusion of the women's event.
- For multi athletes, the women's heptathlon and men's decathlon will get underway at 10 a.m. on Friday.
- Saturday the multi events will kick off at 10 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. with the decathlon and heptathlon.

- In Knoxville, WKU will be competing against the likes of Chicago State, Dayton, Lipscomb, Marshall, MTSU, UNC Asheville, Valparaiso, Youngstown State, and the host Volunteers.
- In Oxford, the Tops will compete against Arkansas State, Illinois State, Jax State, Memphis, New Orleans, UT Martin, and the host Rebels.
