ABOUT THE TOPS
• The Hilltoppers enter the game with a 28-5 (6-3 CUSA) record after a midweek win over Southern Indiana on Tuesday and series win at #17 Dallas Baptist last weekend.
• With the victory over USI on Tuesday, WKU improved to 22-0 at home in 2025 – the best start at home in program history.
• The WKU pitching staff has been dominant thus far as their 2.67 ERA is the best in the nation among Division I teams. The Hilltoppers are the only team in the nation with a sub-3.00 ERA.Â
• Dawson Hall was named the Conference USA Pitcher of the Week after tossing 6.0 shutout frames against a high-powered #17 Dallas Baptist offense in the series-clinching win over the Patriots on Saturday. The Bowling Green, Ky. native improved his record to a perfect 5-0 and lowered his season ERA to 0.82.
• On the offensive end, the Tops' .323 batting average and 81 doubles lead CUSA. Nationally, WKU ranks 11th in batting average and sixth in doubles.
• Hilltopper outfielder Ryan Wideman's .452 batting average, 61 hits, 14 doubles, five triples, 103 total bases and 27 stolen bases lead CUSA. The Marietta, Ga. native is top five in CUSA in batting average (.452), OPS (1.266), runs (43), hits (61), doubles (14), triples (5), RBI (40), total bases (103), slugging percentage (.763), on-base percentage (.503) and stolen bases (27). Nationally, he ranks third in batting average, third in hits, fifth in triples, 12th in total bases and fifth in stolen bases.
• Three of the top seven doubles hitters in CUSA are Hilltoppers. Wideman leads the league with 14, Carlos Vasquez is tied for second with 13 and Ethan Lizama is tied for fourth with 12.Â

• This weekend will be the fourth, fifth and sixth meetings between WKU and Liberty.
• The Hilltoppers lead the all-time series 3-0 after sweeping the Flames in Bowling Green, Ky. last season.
• This will be the first time WKU has played at Liberty in program history.
