- The Hilltoppers will meet LA Tech for the 22nd time in program history. WKU trails the all-time series, 9-12.Â
- WKU won the previous meeting in the 2024 Conference USA Tournament, 10-6.

- The Hilltoppers are currently 15-14 and 2-6 in conference play with wins over UTEP and Sam Houston.Â

- Rylan Smith recorded four strikeouts in her complete game performance against Louisville Tuesday night.
- Maci Masters leads the teams in home runs with a total of eight moonshots on the year. Masters ranks top 10 in the conference in slugging percentage (.675), OPS (1.117), RBI (25), home runs (8), and walks (17).
- Morgan Sharpe leads the team with 30 hits so far this season. Sharpe has contributed 15 runs to the team total this season. She's also posting a team-high .316 batting average.
- Matching Sharpe, Kendle White also is sitting at a .316 batting average. As a tandem, Sharpe and White combine for 8 stolen bases this season.
- Rylan Smith is leading CUSA in batters struck out looking (24) and ranks sixth in total strikeouts (61). Smith has struck out 61 batters on the season allowing a team low .259 batting average against her.
- Junior right-hander Maddy Wood has been a spark plug for the Hilltoppers with a 4-2 record and a 3.40 ERA.Â
ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
- LA Tech currently has an overall record of 20-11 and 7-2 in CUSA. Knotted at second place in the conference, the Bulldogs have won series over MTSU and UTEP.Â
- The Bulldogs currently have two ranked wins over #4 Oklahoma State on February 7 and #17 Auburn on February 21.
- LA Tech is coming off its ninth consecutive win after sweeping its second straight Conference USA series this past weekend.Â
- The Bulldogs defeated Northwestern State in their most recent outing, 3-0. Freshman Laney Johnson tossed a complete-game in the Bulldogs' win over NSU.
- Offensively,The Bulldogs have three players who have tallied 30+ hits in Elena Heng (40), Claire Raley (35), and Nicole Hammoude (35). The Bulldogs also have 23 home runs this season with three batters with five or more home runs.
