- The Hilltoppers will meet the Cardinals for the 25th time in program history. WKU is 3-21 all-time against Louisville with the last win coming on March 16th, 2007 in Bowling Green, Ky.
- The most recent win against the Cards was a 4-2 battle in the first game of a doubleheader at home on Friday, March 16, 2007.

- On Saturday, Maci Masters set two new program records. She became the first Hilltopper in program history to hit three home runs in a game, and also set the single-game program record in RBI with eight. Of her three home runs, two were two-run shots while the third was a grand slam.
- With her performance over the weekend, Masters is now 10th in slugging percentage at .675 and 10th in RBI with 24.
- Sophomore infielder Morgan Sharpe currently leads the Hilltoppers offensively with a .319 batting average.Â
- Senior catcher Randi Drinnon currently leads Conference USA in sacrifice bunts with seven. Freshman infielder Charlotte Herron is tied for tenth in CUSA for doubles with seven. Freshman outfielder Kennedy Stinson is also ranked first in the conference in sacrifice flies with four.
- Freshman right-hander Erica Houge is currently tied for first in CUSA in saves with two. Meanwhile sophomore right-hander Rylan Smith is ranked seventh in batters struck out (57) and is first in batters struck out looking (22).Â
ABOUT THE CARDINALSÂ
- Louisville is currently 19-12 after falling in a series to North Carolina on the road. The Cardinals now sit at 3-6 in ACC play.
- Over the three-game series, Louisville hit a total of three home runs.Â
- Louisville has shared two opponents with WKU so far. The Cardinals lost to Liberty 4-9, but run-ruled EKU 10-2 in five innings.Â
