The Red and White had nine top-10 finishers along with two finishes within the top-five.
Grace Turner and Sophia Roskoski got the day started for the Tops in the field with the pole vault. Turned cleared 3.60 to place fourth while Roskoski's 3.45 placed her seventh in the event.
Ajla Basic also had a successful day in the field in Lexington, placing fourth in the hammer throw after covering 58.34 meters.
Moving to the track, Gianna Huerta led the way for the Red and White in the 400-meter hurdles. Huerta finished ninth, clocking in a 1:03.39. Madison Rabe finished in the top-20 for WKU, coming in at 19th with a 1:07.30.
The day of competition for the women was closed out with the 1500-meter race where Addie Frisch finished 27th in loaded 60 person field. Frisch would turn in a 4:49.49 time.
On the men's side, the Red and White would have three finishers in the top-10. Devon Rogers turned in the best finish for the Tops, coming in eighth in the javelin throw after covering 52.69 meters. This is Rogers' second straight finished in the top-10 in the event
Zack Martinez came in 10th in the 400-meter hurdles in the 21-person field. Martinez turned in a 54.96
Sam Brophy closed out the day for WKU, coming in eighth in the 3000-meter steeplechase. The Hilltopper freshman turned in a 10:19.18 for WKU.

The Jim Green Invitational will continue for the Hilltoppers tomorrow morning. The first event for the Red and White is the men's pole vault, slated for a 10:00 a.m. start.
